PLA+ SILK - filament with a special finish of silk on a PLA basis. High quality and glossy print texture. Printing with correct settings will give a look with almost no printing layers.
PLA+ SILK - filament with a special finish of silk on a PLA basis.
PLA+ SILK - silk filament is a flexible and elastic variation of the raw material (biopolymer) on which PLA is based, which makes the material shiny and gives a soft and high-quality feeling like silk.
SILK is a relatively new filament on the market and it joins a long line of new and complex raw materials that try to simulate real properties of materials, for example: wood, marble, flexible material, color changing, glow in the dark, conductive material and more.
Designed mainly for FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printers, in order to enable the printing of models with a silk finish.
Hence printing with a silk reel is very similar in its printing complexity to printing with regular PLA.
-- Winning tips:
Calibrate to PID values in order to print at low temperature, to prevent temperature leakage that can cause printing to stop.
